The inaugural FP&A Symposium is an opportunity to build, educate and network within Washington, DC-area Financial Planning and Analysis practitioner community.
What to Expect
The meeting will allow professionals at all levels of finance working at local companies to share best practices through facilitated roundtable discussions around the topic of “Building the Finance Capability.”
Attendees will take part in three interactive sessions around each of the core components of building a corporate capability—People, Process and Technology. Each session is led by industry thought leaders.
Event Location and Details
The event will be held at the headquarters of our hosting sponsor, MorganFranklin Consulting, Inc. located at 7900 Tysons One Place, Suite #300, Mclean, VA 22102 on Thursday, June 7, 2018. Check-in for the FP&A Symposium will begin at 7:30 am with the first session beginning at 8:50 am. Complimentary lunch will be provided from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm and all are encouraged to attend, network with other attendees and visit vendors displays.

Brian Kalish is a well-known thought leader in multiple finance topics. He is the Principle and Founder of Kalish Consulting where he partners with various clients to provide training, promote networking opportunities and develop conference content.
Ken Fick is President and CEO of FPandAexperts.com and a Senior Manager at MorganFranklin Consulting, Inc. Mr. Fick is a frequent speaker on finance related topics and has been featured in CFO.com, Proformative webinars, Journal of Accountancy, The CPA Journal and many others esteemed publications.
Bryan Lapidus is a finance, risk and operations professional with 20 years of experience developing and growing companies and program initiatives at small, mid-sized and large-cap companies. He is the Director, FP&A Practice at the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), creating and delivering content for the finance profession.
The FP&A Symposium is free to attendees given the generosity of our sponsors.
All are eligible to register. Selected attendees will receive a personalized invitation at least 2-weeks prior the FP&A Symposium that will require an RSVP commitment to attend.
All registrants will receive follow-up communications after the symposium regarding findings and lessons learned, so all are encouraged to submit their contact information for consideration.
